This is ‘Arneut’, my personal graduate short film. The past 2 years at university have definitely not gone how I wanted or imagined them to go! There was a point last year where I honestly thought that I couldn’t make this film, that it was too hard and I felt like giving up on it. But now I’m proud to say that I have made this whole film despite being stuck at home and the difficulties that Covid brought.

This film is about the impact we as humans are having on the world through pollution and global warming. Seeing the environment healing and animals coming out from hiding when we went into lockdown opened my eyes and inspired me to make this story and try to make something positive out of a negative situation. Arneut (an anagram of ‘nature’) is a creature I created who in this film resembles wildlife and the environment before and after lockdown and the affect that we have on them.
